This class is for anyone who has learned the basics of Zentangle. Now that we have those down, we're going to change it up and break the rules! Rev. Dr. Cynthia Landrum is the minister of UUCAV, but she's also a Certified Zentangle Teacher. For this workshop, she'll bring you some of the latest ideas from Zentangle learned at the “ZenAgain” conference and other places. Join us for a 2-hour session teaching the basics of Zentangle! Zentangle is a meditative doodling process where there are no mistakes, and the result is always beautiful. Zentangle is an 8-step meditation process, where art is the result but not the goal—the goal is centering in gratitude and appreciation. Registration form and more information coming soon! Please join us on Friday, August 14 for our next dinner. Pizza is on the menu this month. A garden salad will also be served along with dessert. There is no charge for the meal. Donations are gratefully accepted. We offer options made with vegetarian, gluten-free, or dairy-free ingredients. All meals are nut-free. Doors open at 5 PM, dinner is served at 5:30 PM.
Our building is designed to be inclusive and accessible to people of all abilities, including wheelchair users. There is plenty of free parking.
